How far is The Albany from Guernsey airport?

3 miles (5 km). The journey takes 10-15 minutes.

How far is The Albany from Guernsey Ferry Harbour?

1 mile (1.7 km). The journey takes 5 minutes by car and 20 minutes on foot.

When should we arrive and depart?

Check in time is 2 pm. We ask that you vacate the apartment by 10 am on the morning of your departure to allow us time to prepare the apartment for arriving guests.

What if I arrive early?

You are welcome to leave your luggage with us. Of course, if your apartment is ready you may check in early. We have a large reception area with comfortable seating and complimentary coffee, tea, and biscuits for your enjoyment.

Is smoking allowed in any of the properties?

No, all of our properties are strictly non-smoking. There are designated smoking areas for our guests who wish to smoke. We kindly ask that should you wish to smoke, please be considerate of non-smoking guests and smoke only in designated areas.

Are pets allowed in any of the properties?

No, although we love pets, we have a strict no pets policy as some guests may be allergic to dog and cat hair.

Are towels, linens, pillows, and duvets supplied?

Yes, all beds are made and the apartments are stocked with bath and hand towels. Tea towels are provided in all properties.

Do you supply toiletries?

Yes! Our selfcatering apartments are stocked with Full Size shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, hand soap, and toothpaste.

Do you supply washing up liquid?

Yes, we supply washing up liquid, kitchen and bathroom cleaner and cloths and toilet rolls to start your stay.

Do you supply a welcome pack?

Yes, our self catering apartment are stocked with tea, coffee, sugar and a quart of our lovely Guernsey milk.

Where is the nearest Supermarket?

Waitrose is less than one mile away (1.1 km) and a convenience store is located a 7 minute walk away.

Where are the nearest pubs and restaurants?

The nearest pub and restaurant is a 5 minute walk; however, there are over 20 restaurants and 10 pubs within a 15 minute walk.

Are the apartments serviced?

Yes the apartments are serviced weekly by our professional in house staff.  On departure, please dispose of all rubbish and leave the property and its contents clean and tidy.

 Do I have to book for an entire week?

Standard bookings are for a period of one week but there may be flexibility at quieter times to offer shorter stays with a minimum of three nights.

What days can I arrive?

Typically, our self catering holidays run from Saturday to Saturday or Wednesday to Wednesday; however, at quieter times we may be able to offer other arrival days.

What about payment?

We require a deposit of 25% to confirm your holiday The balance being due 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday We accept MasterCard, Visa  & Debit cards . We also accept BACS Transfers & cheques.

What about cancellations?

Basically, you may cancel up to 8 weeks prior to arrival to cancel and receive a refund. Details  of our booking conditions are supplied with each booking. Please read our booking conditions and ask if you have any questions.
